Privacy and Terms

The short version

U-GEO runs in your browser. Your data mostly stays on your device. We don't sell information, we don't show ads, and we don't track you around the web.

Your API key

Your key stays on your device. We store it in your browser's local storage so you don't have to paste it every time, and it goes directly to the provider you chose — OpenAI, OpenRouter, Perplexity, or any other. U-GEO never receives it.

What we collect

• Your email — only if you join the waitlist. We use it to send updates about new checks and fix files. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Anonymous usage numbers — which pages people visit and roughly where visitors come from. We use these to improve the site. They can't be traced back to you.

Payments

If you buy a Full Audit, the payment is handled by a payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

Affiliate links

Some pages recommend API providers we trust. If you sign up through one of those links, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. We only recommend providers we would use ourselves.

Cookies

We use only what the tool needs to function. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.

Your rights

Your data is yours. Clear your browser's local storage and your key is gone. Unsubscribe from the emails and you're off the list. If you have questions, email us and we'll help.

What you can expect

• Honest results. The score reflects what AI answers actually said during the audit, with a confidence line that shows how much they agreed. We don't inflate scores.
• Simple pricing. $0 for BYOK audits, $1 per Full Audit. No subscriptions, no hidden fees.
• Your data stays yours. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it beyond what's needed to run the service.

What we ask of you

• Use the tool fairly. Don't scrape it, don't spam it, and don't use it to attack other websites.
• Don't misrepresent results. You can share your report with clients — just don't claim it says something it doesn't.

What U-GEO is not

U-GEO is a measurement tool, not a guarantee. AI answers change constantly. The report shows where your brand stands today and what you can do about it. It doesn't promise rankings, sales, or traffic.

Liability

We work hard to keep U-GEO reliable, but it's provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for losses that come from using it. Your consumer rights are not affected.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced clearly.

U-GEO's design is based on opencode.ai. We liked their clean, minimal style, so we used it as our template. Thanks to the opencode.ai designers and developers — this site looks the way it does because of your work.
